Hi, I’m Leanne Larson! I’m a live wedding and event painter based in Central Minnesota, born and raised an Aussie from the Central Coast of NSW.
After graduating with a BFA from the University of Minnesota, I spontaneously live-painted a friend’s wedding in 2011, and have been happily capturing celebrations across the US, Canada, Australia, and the US Virgin Islands ever since.
My style is soft, romantic, and impressionistic, focusing on the mood and feeling of your day. I enjoy meeting each guest and creating a meaningful, immersive experience as they celebrate.

HOW THE ART ALL BEGAN
BASED IN MINNESOTA, BUT READY TO FLY // EST. 2011
My journey began in 2010 when I chose to paint live at a friend’s wedding instead of giving a traditional gift. This serendipitous choice evolved into leading the way in the wedding industry as a unique service that not only entertains but provides couples with a timeless keepsake. As Picasso beautifully said, “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.” For me, sharing my artistry with you is a joyous experience, capturing the essence of your special day with every stroke of the brush.
Our limited availability ensures that each couple receives a highly personalized experience, with the opportunity to choose the exact setting and moment that hold the most significance—be it the ceremony, reception, or a cherished highlight like the first kiss or first dance. We take exceptional care in integrating personal touches, such as honoring absent loved ones or beloved pets with symbolic details or subtle inclusions.
